Lizzie Pickering
Lizzie is an experienced speaker and consultant, offering her personal, professional and organisational experience of grief, loss and change.
Lizzie’s early work was at Channel 4 but following the death of her young son Harry at 6 years old she co-founded the fundraising team at Helen & Douglas House, the world’s first children’s hospice. She has since gone onto successfully produce her own films and now works with corporate clients educating on Grief in the Workplace.
Lizzie uses her deep and varied experience to support businesses and their people to process life changing events either within their personal lives or at work.
“Lizzie’s compassionate and personal approach to grief and loss resonated very powerfully indeed with the team. Since her visit I’ve received more comments from staff who feel her advice was invaluable-and how they feel their personal resilience will be impacted by her words-than after any other visiting speaker.” - Cheryl Taylor, BBC
“Lizzie is a refreshing mix of clever and interesting, with honesty and openness about her life experiences. I always feel lucky to hear her speak.” - Miranda Hart
