Resilience is something that we can build and must maintain in order to maximise performance and productivity, and take care of mental and physical health.

Individuals who are resilient are better able to deal with stress, adapt to change, work with greater focus and build stronger relationships with colleagues and clients.

This workshop provides an energising introduction to what resilience is from a scientific and highly practical perspective.

The workshop debunks the old unhelpful myths, explores the new scientific definition of resilience and looks at all the domains both in our personal and professional life that contribute to either its erosion or rejuvenation. We explore the consequences of low resilience on our wellbeing and performance and how stress and uncertainties impact resilience.

Participants will understand how to score their resilience levels at any given moment and know when to take action to fuel their resilience. They will have the opportunity to identify their individual resilience drains and uncover ways to patch them up. They will also discover and experience simple evidence-based techniques and strategies to boost resilience, maintain their energy levels and optimise their cognitive functions (such as focus & decision making).

As a build on this introductory workshop, we have further workshops that delve deeper into aspects of resilience including change, managing stress, connection with others and cultivating a positive mindset.
