Overview

Suitable for all staff

Energy management is a core skill for any working parent to develop. This workshop will reveal the latest studies on how to manage energy across every aspect of your life.

We take a look at what energy management is and why it matters, highlighting the very real risk of burnout if awareness and attention is not given to this. We explain what burnout looks and feels like in order to better identify the early warning signs in ourselves and each other.

We also explore the concept of decision fatigue in parenting, which is a common experience among working parents who have to juggle a multitude of responsibilities both at home and in the workplace. For working parents, decision-making can become particularly challenging as they face a constant stream of decisions related to their work and family life. We explain how to navigate this sense of overwhelm with greater ease.

Participants will have the opportunity to create their own unique energy blueprint, equipping you with the awareness and practical skills to take care of your vital energy in order to best fulfil the role of parent and colleague and ultimately support your own health and wellbeing.
