Climate Action

The extent, pace and projection of ecological collapse this planet is going through is overwhelming. The external impact of forest fires, floods and extreme weather is easy to see, but what of the emotional and psychological damage within us? Climate psychology has become a new field as more and more people are experiencing eco-anxiety.

Overview

Suitable for all staff

This workshop explores your relationship to the crisis that is unfolding and how acknowledgement and acceptance of our fear and grief move us into action. Statistics and threat warnings only get us so far, we must have an emotional connection to the challenge and our actions, if we are to achieve anything.

What is the importance of grief, gratitude and nature connection? What is intrinsic hope and why is it so important?

This workshop confronts what so many of us are trying to avoid. It will leave participants with some powerful questions to consider and some time to reflect on how to respond to what will be an ever increasing challenge in our lives.

What people say..

Hamish was lovely, authentic and helped really bring forth the emotions of everyone and helped me to feel heard and understood. It can be so hard to talk about these things and I believe he did it such a great and impactful way.
