Spotting & Preventing Burnout
We live in a world full of multiple challenges and pressures. The nature of our working lives, combined with numerous global crises, past and present, leave all of us more vulnerable to feelings of stress, which unless managed can over time lead to a state of burnout.
Since 2019 the World Health Organisation have formally recognised burnout as a significant and costly work-related condition and current research suggests that across all sectors burnout rates are very high and still rising.
Given the potentially serious consequences burnout poses for both individuals and organisations it is increasingly important that everyone in the workplace feels equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure they can effectively protect themselves and maintain a healthy state of wellbeing.
