In this workshop, delivered by a medical doctor and leading sleep expert, we offer a guide for all who are interested in achieving better quality sleep. By understanding what gets in the way of sleep we are able to target the specific issues with techniques and strategies from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Participants will gain an overview of sleep phases, different types of sleep and understand how much sleep we really need. We also take a look at some of the specific issues we face with sleep, what triggers sleep problems like insomnia and what keeps them going, and crucially share the knowledge, skills and strategies to address this and achieve better sleep quality.
