With our comprehensive training programme, your Champions gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead from within, backed by ongoing support to sustain their impact.


Overview

 

A Champion’s role is to:

  • Amplify Awareness: Promote and boost engagement with wellbeing initiatives, sharing the responsibility for the success of your programme

  • Become Your ‘Ears on the Ground’: ensuring employee voices are heard and wellbeing needs are met

  • Lead by Example: Visibly model healthy habits and practices, inspiring others to follow suit.

  • Offer a Safe Space: to discuss wellbeing needs, lightening the load on HR and management.

  • Connect and Guide: Help employees access the right support and resources when they need them most

Foundation Training Format:

Full day in person or 2 x 2-hour virtual sessions

Part 1: Fundamentals of Wellbeing

Understanding Workplace Wellbeing:

  • Connection between wellbeing, success, and productivity.

  • Fundamentals of workplace wellbeing - understanding key concepts and models/theories of workplace wellbeing.

  • Costs of poor wellbeing at both a personal and business level.

 

Part 3: Wellbeing Champions Skills

Interpersonal Skills

  • Effective communication and support techniques.

  • Conducting meaningful conversations.

  • Recognizing and maintaining boundaries.

How to lead a Wellbeing Campaign

  • Wellbeing advocacy - practical ideas for being confident and having people listen and effectively advocating the cause

  • Signposting to further support and resources.

Self-Care Principles:

  • Strategies for personal wellbeing to sustain their role.

  • Tools for self-care and supporting others (e.g.regulation and breathing techniques).

Creating clear actions plans for the coming six to twelve months

  • We provide a template for your six to twelve month plans and the necessary steps you need to take to get you there.

Ongoing Support & Development

It is crucial that the Champions remain supported in their role to ensure the ongoing success of your Champions network.

We provide ongoing support in the shape of 90 min quarterly community check-in sessions. These are a chance to come together in shared experience, ask questions, learn from each other and further education and understanding.
